4 week hand building course
Join us our little seaside studio on the reg’s for our intro to the potters wheel course. We are here to guide you through the fundamentals of hand shaped pottery, as well as the firing and finishing process. Designed for complete beginners or potters wanting to improve their skills. Let’s overcome challenges, and enjoy getting your hands dirty over four fortnightly sessions.
CLAYCOURSE - 3 week hand building course
With 8 hours of teacher supported making time the skills you learn in this course will set you up with the fundamental knowledge to qualify for our membership programs, and continue a pottery practice long into the future.
What you will learn -
Week 1 - clay preparation, pinch pots
Week 2 - coiling
Week 3 - slab building
Week 4 - Glazing, firing & finishing

Bottomless clay to shape whatever you please
Selection of glazes and firing of your work
Small group and one on one tutoring
DURATION: 2 hour sessions over a four or eight week period
