CLAYCOURSE - OUR FOUR WHEEK WHEEL THROWING POTTERY COURSE
Join us our little seaside studio on the reg’s for our intro to the potters wheel course, while we guide you through the fundamentals of wheel throwing pottery, as well as the firing and finishing process. Designed for complete beginners or potters wanting to improve their throwing skills, overcome challenges, and enjoy getting your hands dirty as we guide you on your clay journey over four fortnightly sessions.
CLAYCOURSE
With 8 hours of teacher supported making time the skills you learn in this course will set you up with the fundamental knowledge to continue a pottery practice long into the future.

What you will learn -
Week 1 - clay preparation, centring & balance
Week 2 - Opening and pulling cylinders, pots and bowls
Week 3 - trimming, making handles and plates
Week 4 - Glazing, firing & finishing

Selection of glazes and firing of your work
Small group and one on one tutoring
DURATION: 2 hour sessions over a four or eight week period
