With a partner or friend, while we turn the lights down so you can channel your inner Swayze and Moore.
In this 2 hour workshop we will lead you through a crash course in using the pottery wheel and you'll go home with a maximum of four pottery pieces each that you can keep forever.
Enjoy music, wine provided by us, and feel free to bring your own beverages to make a night of it.
Glazing and firing is included in the cost of our workshops at Saltwater studios. Perfection is not sought and there is no right or wrong. We are all about enjoyment, personal growth and having fun.
All abilities, no creative experience required.

Dive into the art of wheel throwing with our class designed for those who want to learn the magic of shaping clay on the potter’s wheel. From centring to creating forms, you’ll discover the joy of creation and the therapeutic element of hands-on clay.

DURATION: 2 hours
$120.00 PER PERSON
We encourage you to wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little dirty. Shorter nails will make for an easier experience and precious jewellery should be left at home.
All firing is completed in house with a four to six week turn around between your workshop and collecting the finished pieces.
